Hibiscus — known as Bissap in Senegal and across West Africa — has been a beloved drink for centuries. We brought that tradition to the UK and France.

What is Bissap?

Bissap is the Wolof name for the hibiscus flower, native to tropical regions and deeply rooted in West African culinary culture. The drink made from its dried petals is vibrant, tart, and naturally rich in antioxidants.

At Bissap Weli, we source only certified organic hibiscus petals and craft them into three bold, ready-to-drink flavours — low calorie, low sugar, and free from artificial anything.
